Opeyemi E. Lamikanra, M.D. is a double board certified surgeon specializing in both orthopedics and hand surgery. She has been fellowship trained to treat common hand conditions as well as complex, detailed injuries. Conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, ganglion cyst, dupuytren’s disease, and arthritis are the most common conditions.

Carpal tunnel syndrome can be treated with carpal tunnel release surgery. Traditional surgery involves an incision of up to 2 inches in the palm and wrist area, whereas endoscopic surgery involves one or two half-inch incisions and the use of an endoscope.
